Family Map

Choose a documented family line, then use its focused view. This avoids implying that every public person belongs in one enormous confirmed pedigree.

    Rosenberg–Šiauliai survivor line

Mendel Rosenberg and his immediate family, centered on Königsberg, Šiauliai, Holocaust persecution and displacement, and postwar migration to the United States.

    Schweizer

Karoline/Caroline Schweizer Einstein and her ancestry/origins.

    1. Karoline SchweizerBorn November 7, 1854 · Died December 11, 1924

Open lineage; Karoline’s birthplace is confirmed as Altdorf bei Ettenheim, while her parents remain unresolved. The accessible 1854 Catholic and Israelite Altdorf duplicates, the relevant Mahlberg Lutheran duplicate, and the Ettenheim Israelite duplicate contain no matching entry. The original Mahlberg Lutheran register's isolated 1854 leaf is also negative. On 31 August 2026, the Erzbischöfliches Archiv Freiburg reported a negative search of the original Altdorf Catholic baptismal register and its name index for the relevant surname and given-name variants in 1854–1855. No further narrow register target follows directly from the current evidence.
