Evidence-backed claims

Miriam Einstein was a daughter of Lazarus/Elieser Einstein and Mathilde/Matele Samuel.

The 1828 proceeding directly names her father Lazarus; scholarly notes identify her mother as Mathilde/Matele Samuel.

Strongly supported
Isak Einstein and Miriam Einstein were cousins through the Leopold/Jehuda Einstein–Esther Oettinger family.

The two reconstructed parental lines converge on Leopold/Jehuda and Esther.

Strongly supported
Emil Einstein was a son of Isak Einstein and Mirjam/Miriam Einstein, née Einstein.

Emil’s 1887 civil death entry identifies both parents.

Confirmed
In September 1828 Isac Einstein sought permission to marry Miriam Einstein and practice the butcher’s trade in Laupheim.

The municipal proceeding identifies both fathers, intended marriage, occupation, assets, and residence request.

Confirmed
The Steinheim family-register reconstruction assigns Daniel, Babette Bela, Leopold, Jeanette, Miriam, Moses, and Clara to Lazarus/Elieser Einstein's first marriage to Mathilde/Matele Samuel; and Abraham, Esther, Babette, Fanny, Simon, Jette, and Hannchen to his second marriage to Jeanette Bernheim.

Two independent person pages in the Steinheim scholarly edition reproduce the same first-marriage child group, and the Lazarus page explicitly separates the second-marriage children. Both cite Familienregister p. 10.

Strongly supported
The Steinheim family-register reconstruction lists thirteen children of Isak and Miriam Einstein and treats Daniel, an unnamed child born in 1844, Emanuel born in 1845, and Moritz as distinct children.

The Isak and Miriam pages reproduce the same thirteen-child list and both cite Familienregister p. 74. The sequence explicitly distinguishes the unnamed 1844 child from Emanuel born in 1845.

Strongly supported
The Joseph Einstein in the official 1856 Laupheim emigration entry is a plausible candidate for P-025, the Joseph listed in the compiled household of Isak and Miriam Einstein, and may document that child's emigration to North America.

The official LEO-BW entry records a single Jewish brewer named Joseph Einstein residing in Laupheim who emigrated to North America on 29 July 1856. P-025 is a Joseph Einstein in the reconstructed Isak/Miriam household, born about 1838 and already reported in compiled material as emigrating to America. The name, residence, religion, destination, and plausible age align, but the emigration index does not provide age, birth date, or parentage.
