Evidence-backed claims

Lazarus/Elieser Einstein was a son of Leopold/Jehuda Einstein and Esther Oettinger.

Lazarus’s Hebrew inscription names Jehuda; scholarly notes identify Leopold/Jehuda and Esther.

Strongly supported
Miriam Einstein was a daughter of Lazarus/Elieser Einstein and Mathilde/Matele Samuel.

The 1828 proceeding directly names her father Lazarus; scholarly notes identify her mother as Mathilde/Matele Samuel.

Strongly supported
In September 1828 Isac Einstein sought permission to marry Miriam Einstein and practice the butcher’s trade in Laupheim.

The municipal proceeding identifies both fathers, intended marriage, occupation, assets, and residence request.

Confirmed
The Steinheim family-register reconstruction assigns Daniel, Babette Bela, Leopold, Jeanette, Miriam, Moses, and Clara to Lazarus/Elieser Einstein's first marriage to Mathilde/Matele Samuel; and Abraham, Esther, Babette, Fanny, Simon, Jette, and Hannchen to his second marriage to Jeanette Bernheim.

Two independent person pages in the Steinheim scholarly edition reproduce the same first-marriage child group, and the Lazarus page explicitly separates the second-marriage children. Both cite Familienregister p. 10.
