Discoveries

Public claims explicitly assigned to this family line.

No documentary common ancestor has yet been established between the Fellheim/Laupheim Einstein branch and Albert Einstein’s documented Buchau branch.

Bergmann documented unsuccessful attempts to connect the Swabian branches. The 2026 Augsburg archive search did not recover Daniel Einstein's underlying 1722/1747 originals or identify his father. Independent Buchau evidence now establishes an early Baruch Moses Ainstein household and supports an early Moises line, making Baruch a testable candidate common ancestor, but no source-backed Daniel-to-Baruch parent-child link has been found. Repeated derivative pedigrees asserting that link are leads, not documentary proof.

Strongly supported
The 1844 Bad Buchau Emil Einstein namesake is the target Emil Einstein of Laupheim/Stuttgart.

The research archive explicitly rejects this identity and warns against using it as a shortcut to Albert Einstein’s branch.

Rejected
Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein were the parents of Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein's 1919 Berlin civil marriage entry explicitly identifies Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein as his parents.
