Reliability and limits
Primary naturalization record and first-person family statement. It conflicts with the 1926 petition and headstone on Rubin's birth year, and with the 1926 petition on several other household dates. Full resolution and SHA-256 are preserved in the private intake manifest.
Supported discoveries
A contemporary Atlanta obituary reports the 31 March 2011 death and age 90; the headstone and Samuel Silverstein's 1926 naturalization petition give 2 January 1921. Samuel's 1933 petition instead gives 2 January 1920, so the death date is confirmed but the birth year remains explicitly disputed.
Both naturalization petitions independently repeat the same birth date and birthplace; the legible headstone gives the death date and age 63.
Samuel's 1926 and 1933 naturalization petitions both identify Sara as his wife and Rubin as their son. The forms conflict on Rubin's birth year but not on the parent-child relationship.
