C-078 · Strongly supported
Ignatz Saalfeld died on 6 July 1937 in Wiesbaden.
Evidence
S-028's administrative file card and Auguste Saalfeld's signed 1957 compensation application independently record the same exact date and Wiesbaden place. Counsel later relayed Max Wortsmann's account that Ignatz traveled from Stuttgart to Wiesbaden for medical treatment by a friend and died after a few days. The date and place are repeated dossier facts; the medical-trip circumstance remains retrospective family testimony.

What remains uncertain
No contemporary civil death record or medical record has been reviewed. A separate 1957 cover letter misstates Limburg as the death place, apparently carrying the birthplace into the wrong field.
